The sound of a strange voice pleading for help, unmistakably coming from inside their territory, made Fierro abandon the goat tracks he'd been sniffing, and run to the scene. Reaching his head out of the thicket, his eyes captured a small brown and black dog clearly walk after a fleeing Cadet, and rub against him, while still begging for help.

"What's going on here?!" the surprised voice of the white mastiff broke the air, and his long legs didn't take long to catch up with the duo. "W..who are you? Cadet, what's happening?" the brown and black dog wasn't big, and didn't look threatening, so he limited himself to stand firmly, without aggressiveness. Was this a trespasser, or something better?

Cadet laughed. "Scared? Of you? Don't be absurd." The very idea was ridiculous. Samsam was small, she was new, and she was easily annoyed. Perhaps if she'd seemed like a persuasive or clever dog, he would have been more wary, but she was so obvious about her feelings that he didn't feel even a bit of apprehension.

His amusement lessened significantly when the stupid bitch had the audacity to TOUCH him. He flinched away as she rubbed up against him, making a face at her awful smell. Okay, now she was really starting to get on his nerves and his ears were laid back to show it. "Look, Samsammy, stop being such a dumbass or I really will report you to-"

Then another scent reached the young dog's nostrils: Fierro. He felt a wave of relief seeing the vast shape of his familiar packmate and walked over to him, eyes averted respectfully and tail down.

"This is a new member of the pack, Fierro. Her name is Samsam Sammy and I think she's kind of insane because she's trying to make other dogs believe I bit her. I didn't know what to do, but now that you've shown up, I feel a lot better. Thanks for coming."

There was genuine gratitude mixed in with the green-eyed dog's general toadying; he was glad another dog was a witness to Samsam being a liar. And he did actually like the large dog,

"F-Fierrro, is that yourr name?" Said Samsam Sammy wide-eyed, in a panicky voice as she ran behind him and coward down. "Wh-what, why would I want to frrame you, I don't know you, it doesn't make any sense! I don't want any trouble I just wanted to meet my new packmates! Please Fierro, please get me away frrom this bully!  I don't understand why he would attack me, I swearr I didn't hurrt him!"

"It's no problem" he said to the young packborn, with a grin. "A new member?" this made Fierro wag his tail, it was always nice to have a new Brother! A bigger family, and new stories to be heard!

Fierro raised an eyebrow at Sammy's words. Cadet would often tease his brother, and use rude words, but was not the type to physically hurt. So upon the contradictory statements, he quickly sniffed both their muzzles.

"Why are you saying he bit you? Cadet's not the type to bite, no. And, and it's only your mouth that smells of blood" he shook his head. In the one hand he didn't like that the new dog was telling lies, but in the other hand, he didn't want the new Brother to feel unwelcome either. If she was here, it was because Bull allowed her to, and Bull would never let a bad dog join the pack. Maybe it was like Cadet said, she was only crazy. He was a bit confused as to how should he handle the situation, but decided to try anyway. He wagged his tail reassuringly at the new dog, and spoke: "Well, I'm pleased to meet you, Samsammy! We are like a big family, and we like to tell stories to each other. But just, um, don't say lies. Lies are no good, and can cause a lot of trouble. But I know if Bull let you in, it's because you're a good dog. Cadet is your Brother, and he's not going to hurt you" he said with a smile. "I, I hope you enjoy our pack"

"What? I don't know why he bit me, maybe he didn't believe me when I said I'm a memberr now... If my face smells like blood, it's because I was licking it. It hurrts so much! Do you not believe me? Why would I do this to myself?" Said Samsam Sammy, wincing. At least he sounded welcoming. This pack almost seemed bipolar.

"His mouth doesn't smell of blood. And, I saw you rub against him. Why would you walk after him, if he, he attacked you?" Fierro said, and frowned. What was happening with this new dog? Maybe he should raise the question next time the pack met. She coudn't be bad, but maybe she was indeed crazy and imagining Cadet hurt him, when he clearly didn't. She wouldn't try to blame the young Brother just to give him trouble, right? "Did, did some stray you confused with Cadet bit you or something?"  he had caught the scent of another dog on him, besides Bull and Cadet. Yeah, maybe that's what happened. Either way, the issue needed to be brought with the family. The new member probably needed help!

"Therre wasn't even much blood at firrst, whateverr... drrop, therre may have been is masked by his saliva! I don't know, I'm no detective! I accidentally bumped him when I was trrying to rrun past. But you neverr answerred my question Fierrro. Why would I hurrt myself to frrame someone I've neverr met?" Said Samsam Sammy before continuing to lick the wound that genuinely stung.

Cadet rolled his eyes at the small dog's lies. She was pathetic, really, and probably crazy. He had to stop from smirking as Fierro handled the situation with his usual friendliness; still, it was probably a good tactic in this case - there was no way Samsam was going to get away with saying Fierro attacked her, too. He almost chipped in but figured it was more respectful to let his older Brother handle the situation - he could do it far better than Cadet could.

"I don't know why you tried to frame me, but I'm starting to think you just wanted to make trouble." Cadet said with irritation. "I know we didn't get along so well at first, but that's no excuse to stir up all this nonsense. Just let it go, already. There are plenty of dogs like Fierro who you'll like."

Fierro frowned again. Cadet's mention of they not getting along at first pretty much answered her question. "You didn't answer my question either. Why, you smell of an unknown dog?" maybe she wouldn't go as far as biting herself, true. But he was sure Cadet hadn't bit her. "And also, no, if he would have just bitten you, it would still smell of blood. It can't disappear in so little time"

A saddened expression appeared in the mastiff's face, remembering the poor relationship the Father herself also had with the other new member. No, this situation wasn't good. "Samsam. I... I want to believe you, but... I think you wanted to get Cadet in trouble. Look, um...  we are all a family, I'm very happy you joined us... and I want you to feel at ease among us... to find a home in here. But, but trying to get our Little Brother in trouble, it's not, not really a good idea. Cadet, he was born here, we all know him" He smiled reassuringly. He knew the packborn wasn't the most welcoming member, and while not justifying her actions, he wasn't happy that she had undoubtedly had a rude reception when she was probably just trying to make friends. Then he had an idea. "I dislike seeing my Brothers fight, so I think the entire family should met and talk. These tensions, they shouldn't exist. We all got to get along, be united like the Brotherhood we are" he smiled. "So, you two want to come with me? I really... hope with time, you two become friends"

"Okay, yeah, I get it. I'm just the new perrson. I should have known you'd neverr believe me..." Sulked Samsam Sammy. "I smell like anotherr dog because I was with my frriend who also joined. I guess you should know that beforre you attack him too! You'rre just a bully, and if you keep it up, people arre going to know the trruth!"

Samsam Sammy turned around and began walking away. "I don't need you two to come with me. I'll meet the otherrs on my own, but if one morre bites me, I, I'm going to have to rrethink living herre..."

Fierro stepped ahead, but let her go. "Look, I just want to solve this problem. It's not that you are new, just... that I don't really find proof he bit you" he sighed heavily. "I'm gonna talk to him" he said, snout pointing at Cadet. The latter bit he preferred not to happen, but after all, it was a rule in his pack and he would not question it. He hoped the new dog... dogs, decided to stick around. He shook his head, a meeting was definitively needed.

He then looked at the young dog. "Cadet... tell me the truth, what happened? I... I know you didn't bit her, but did you make her feel bad?"

"Friends" was a stretch, but he was more than happy to indifferently ignore Samsam unless they had to cooperate on a hunt or something. As the crazy dog walked away, he was very tempted to say that no one would care if she decided to leave. But Fierro was there, so he held his tongue.

"Yes, I wasn't very polite to her." He admitted, eyes averted. "But that doesn't excuse her trying to stir up trouble. I never threatened to attack her or anything." True, he'd threatened to report her to Bull, and he was almost wishing he could. The multicolored dog wouldn't go behind Fierro's back, though, and in all honesty he was more than happy not to stir up more trouble between him and the red-eyed female. She was crazy, and if not crazy, then just plain annoying.

A swift nod, "I want to talk to you later. If the other new member comes please, just howl. Please don't, be rude to him or her... that won't help any of us" , the mastiff said, and began making his way to the den. He didn't consider himself good at handling these issues, and wanted to ask the rest of the pack for advise. Trying to amend issues between his Brothers was his duty.
