Swine Family and Random info

Description

Note that all of them have names, I just haven't come up with them all yet ='D I'll add them when they are mentioned in comic

In the backgrounds in GoR, I draw a lot of different background swine. And not all of their family history had been thought out. So I figured, I should determine how many pigs they have, and which are related to which to keep things organised.

It took me so many hours to sort through all this and do this pig chart ;u; in fact, i had to draw the heads twice because i drew them too small the first time. (technically three times, but the first was really half assed)

If I run into a problem, I might have to make small tweaks to this, but I think I've got it pretty solid as is. (besides changing things with plot)

This is organised by age of the animal. Note that if it has a yellow box behind it, it wasn't bred and raised from birth, so it could be 7 years old and in captivity for just 3.

I'm doing all sorts of things with genetics that probably make no sense. I couldn't figure out if warthogs can breed with boars and what not. Also I'm just gonna say maybe there was some recessive gene business going on with Swine 1's cheek fur. But they can now apparently

Wicker keeps track of the pig families in a notebook to prevent inbreeding. It's getting harder to prevent that with each generation without finding new blood. Swine 5 and 6 were accidents

At around 6 months, the piglets either become food, or are given a name and kept (most males are castrated unless they seem like good candidates for breeding. The sows aren't spayed because nobody is a surgeon.)

if you notice anything that makes absolutely no sense, let me know. I originally was just making this for my own reference, but I ended up polishing it a little, and thought I may as well submit it in case anyone wanted to learn this random info

They are one pig happy family

So much thought went into this. Ain't it great to put a cusston of thought into background characters who probably won't end up important anyway? They have these epic backstories...that we'll never learn. Is there any distinction between the ones labeled swine and the ones labeled pig?

Also warthogs are in a different genus than domestic swine, so they wouldn't be able to interbreed. Pigs are in the Sus genus; to cross you'd have to stay within that. Warthogs are genus Phacochoerus. Not to be confused with a Warty Pig, which is a member of genus Sus. But I wouldn't worry about it much.

Also. No Biko babies ) =
