Yeah, not the best picture. They arn't very photogenic though. But they did make it into scholastics. They won either a silver key or a certificate, I don't know which three got the silver keys yet... Full veiw plox?
by the way, I don't think this should be consitered mature content but if you think so, post and I might change it.

EDIT: The one on the left won a certificate, and the one on the right won a silver key in the scholastics contest.

Ha ha ha! I love how they turned out! What kind of glaze did you use to get the cracking in the skin?

Ah! I just started to use those! The only bad thing is that they smell like an old swamp...
My favorite is the crock crawl and the chocolate. I'm testing a pinch pot by I put all the crawls we had with raiku over them to see what happens. I'm hoping it will peel in a cool way.

Yeah, its the worst smelling glaze ever! Every time I use it, it just smells worse and worse... Its worth it though, like useing moldy slip. Its gross but I got used to it after a while. Theres one glaze that smells like candy :D Ive never heard of rock crawl before

I've never smelled moldy slip... I can only imagine... ugh.
Yeah, I'm getting there because I like the effect!
Which glaze is it? I want to smell it!
Crock crawl kinda looks like a crocodile skin, kinda.

Hmmm.... I'm trying to remember... well... I'm not sure what glaze it is right now... maybe gold rain? I haven't used it in a while. Yeah I've been meaning to use that glaze on some sort of reptile, but I always have so many other ideas for texture to use instead...

Right now I still have the bad habit of carving all the scales down a reptile... I just need to get use to using all sorts of glazes. Oh and did you high-fire or low-fire the puppys?

No, its not a bad habit. I've been making these reptilian creatures, but I used slip to make their scales. Use a bottle, with a whole in the top, or if you get a cake decorating set or something, then put slip in it and squease it out to make scales easily. I high fired them.

I thought about making a set of stamp tools I could use, various shapes and sizes so I could go quicker. Slip and bottle sounds like a cool effect though. Thank you!
I thought so.
